General Trading Principles
All trading activities must be executed in a disciplined, responsible, and professional manner. Traders are strictly required to adhere to sound risk management practices and maintain consistency throughout their evaluation and funded stages.

Allowed Instruments
Depending on your selected platform and account type, traders have access to a wide range of assets, including: Forex Pairs, Indices, Commodities, Stocks, and Cryptocurrencies. Availability may vary based on market hours and liquidity.

Trading Strategies
Manual trading and automated trading systems (Expert Advisors / EAs) are fully permitted. However, strategies must reflect genuine market speculation. Any strategy relying on system manipulation, latency exploitation, price feed abuse, or arbitrage is strictly forbidden.

Prohibited Practices
To maintain a fair trading environment, the following activities will result in immediate account termination without a refund:
- Latency, reverse, or statistical arbitrage exploitation
- High-Frequency Trading (HFT) and malicious tick scalping
- Trade manipulation, toxic trading flow, or system abuse
- Account sharing or third-party account management
- Copy trading from external signals or third-party sources
- Reverse hedging across multiple accounts
- Use of malicious, unauthorized software, or guaranteed-profit EAs

Risk Management Rules
Traders must strictly comply with the Maximum Daily Loss limit and the Maximum Overall Drawdown limit, whether static or trailing, based on the account type. Both floating (unrealized) and closed (realized) losses are calculated in real-time toward drawdown limits.

Daily Loss Rule
If the maximum daily loss threshold is reached or exceeded at any exact moment, trading is immediately suspended. Breaching this limit constitutes a hard violation and results in automatic account termination.

Overall Drawdown Rule
If the account equity or balance drops below the maximum overall drawdown limit, the account is permanently breached and closed, with no eligibility for future payouts on that specific account.

News Trading
Executing trades during high-impact macroeconomic news events is strictly prohibited, unless explicitly stated otherwise for your specific account tier. This includes opening or closing trades minutes before and after the news release.

Holding Trades (Overnight & Weekends)
Holding open positions overnight or over the weekend is not permitted, unless explicitly allowed by the specific rules of your purchased account type. Trades left open past the permitted hours may be automatically closed, or the account may be flagged.

Scalping
Scalping is a permitted trading style, provided it complies with fair market execution and all risk parameters. However, to prevent toxic order flow, a minimum trade holding time of one (1) minutes per position is strictly enforced.

Account Monitoring
All BonaFX accounts are monitored utilizing both automated AI risk systems and manual reviews by our risk team to ensure absolute compliance with all trading rules and terms of service.

Rule Violations
Any violation of the aforementioned trading rules will result in an immediate account breach. All decisions made by the BonaFX Risk Team regarding breaches and toxic trading behavior are final and non-negotiable.

Rule Modifications
BonaFX reserves the right to update, modify, or enforce new trading rules at any time to protect the integrity of the firm and its capital. Traders will be notified of major changes.
